Some drawings – or are they illustrations?

I’m kinda toying with the idea of doing some more serious drawings – illustrations if you will. Mostly cos I love drawing – it is very calming and meditative. Feeli influenced by Jane Rays‘ illustrative style – and my colleague Carys Tait’s stuff.
Plus with small kids around theres always plenty of paper, pens & pencils about so its almost something I can do along side them… in theory!
So here’s a few of my attempts. Feel free to let me know your thoughts – but don’t be too unkind…

Ok I have been messing around with Photoshop.
Mostly in an attempt to do an eye catching poster design for the upcoming FattyBoomBasstic gig in Moles club (29th Aug fans!)
But also to hide myself away from an increasingly whingey Daniel – who has got a cold and been mithering about it all day

Also I have been playing with my new graphics tablet that arrived today. A Trust Wireless Tablet 4200 no doubt. Alas it is extremely temperatmental and I am going to have to send it back. Maybe I’ll just do with a wireless mouse instead….
