Mostly cos I love drawing – it is very calming and meditative. Feeli influenced by Jane Rays‘ illustrative style – and my colleague Carys Tait’s stuff.
Plus with small kids around theres always plenty of paper, pens & pencils about so its almost something I can do along side them… in theory!
So here’s a few of my attempts. Feel free to let me know your thoughts – but don’t be too unkind…

I drew this little guy after a day of drawing robots for Daniel.
I used it as inspiration for the birthday card I made him on Saturday
(I also wanted to see how a simple pen and ink drawing could be transferred to Flickr)
